Description

Cinnamon is called the spice which is obtained from the bark of plants of the genus cinnamate. It is mainly used in cooking and confectionery. Its medicinal properties had been exploited since antiquity and it was used to preserve food. The spice has red-brown color, either in powder form or in the form of peel and has intense smell.
