Description
The mugwort is an herbaceous, perennial plant and its height is from 20cm to 1.20m. It grows in temperate and warm countries as native in barren and rocky places. It has been used since the time of Hippocrates. They considered that strengthens the memory and the vision and helps on pains in muscles, joints and connective tissues. A green essential is extracted (the wormwood), which has been used in the past in pharmacology of herbs for anti-inflammatory, antiseptic and diuretic properties, as well as for preparation of toxic alcoholic beverage absinthe which can lead in nervous disorders in large portions.
